| A soundwork constructed from FM radio sounds. I was thinking about immersive soundscapes, and my mind turned to the idea of mediascape; the constant drone of FM frequency transmissions travelling thousands of miles across the country. When had Regina first been exposed to human transmitted broadcasting? The piece is also intended to evoke something of the isolation of Prairie communities, and to consider the significance of the medium of radio in such contexts.
